What is Casco insurance?
Casco insurance, also known as own-damage motor insurance, is a voluntary insurance policy that compensates the owner of the insured vehicle for physical damage resulting from accidents, theft, fire, natural events, and other risks specified in the policy terms and conditions.
Unlike compulsory motor third-party liability (TPL) insurance, which covers damage or injury caused to third parties, Casco insurance covers damage to the insured vehicle itself, including accidents for which the driver of the insured vehicle is at fault. It therefore protects the vehicle owner’s financial interests.

Compulsory Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance (TPL) covers damage caused by the driver to third parties. KASKO Insurance covers material damage to the insured vehicle itself.
Yes. KASKO Insurance also covers minor damage, subject to the terms and deductible specified in the policy.
Yes. For coverage under a KASKO insurance policy, the owner must declare the persons authorized to drive the vehicle and have their names specified in the insurance policy.
Depending on the policy terms, a deductible and/or excess may apply.
Yes. The customer may choose to have the vehicle repaired at a service center authorized by INTERSIG or receive financial compensation based on the damage assessment.

No. Like any other voluntary insurance policy, the KASKO insurance policy ceases to be valid if ownership of the insured motor vehicle changes.
