Ms. Fitnete Sulaj is the General Manager of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a., part of Vienna Insurance Group (VIG), the leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe.

Ms. Sulaj is the founder of the company since 2001 and has led the company through important periods of its development and transformation. With many years of experience in the Albanian insurance industry, she has contributed to strengthening the position of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group in the Albanian non-life insurance market and to implementing international standards of corporate governance, risk management and customer orientation, in line with the practices of Vienna Insurance Group.

Under her leadership, INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group has continued to develop a business model based on financial stability, professionalism, innovation and the creation of long-term value for customers, partners and shareholders.

Ms. Sulaj has also contributed to the development of the insurance industry in Albania, serving for several years as the President of the Albanian Insurers Association and representing the sector in initiatives of importance to the insurance market.

As General Manager, she leads the implementation of the company's strategy with a focus on sustainable growth, digital transformation, strengthening the organizational culture and providing modern solutions that respond to the evolving needs of clients.

Mr. Fatmir Bërdica is a Member of the Board of Directors of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a., a position he has held since January 2012.

With a long and consolidated experience in the fields of insurance, finance and accounting, he has made a significant contribution to strengthening corporate governance and overseeing the company’s strategic processes. His expertise includes the financial sector, investments, reinsurance, risk management and insurance underwriting processes, supporting sustainable growth, financial stability and the digital transformation of society.

In addition to his engagement in the private sector, Mr. Bërdica has contributed for almost two decades to higher education as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tirana (2001–2020), sharing his knowledge and experience with entire generations of future professionals.

Currently, he is engaged as a Member of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (IKM) and is a Member of the National Accounting Council (KKK), where he actively contributes to the development of the accounting profession, the improvement of financial reporting and the promotion of the best professional standards in Albania.

As a Member of the Board of Directors of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a., Mr. Bërdica contributes to determining the strategic orientation of the company, promoting high standards of corporate governance and creating sustainable value for all stakeholders, in accordance with the principles and standards of Vienna Insurance Group.

Mr. Justin Gjini has been a Member of the Board of Directors of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a. since 2025.

He has an international academic background in business administration, having completed his Master’s (MBA) studies at Webster Vienna Private University and Webster University – George Herbert Walker School of Business & Technology.

Mr. Gjini developed his professional career at Vienna Insurance Group AG in Austria, where he held various roles over a period of several years. This experience has enabled him to gain in-depth knowledge of the international insurance industry, risk management, business strategy and corporate governance.

As a Member of the Board of Directors, he contributes to the strategic oversight of the company’s activities, the promotion of high standards of corporate governance and the support of the sustainable development of society, in line with the strategy and values ​​of Vienna Insurance Group.

His international experience and knowledge of the group’s best practices contribute to strengthening the strategic orientation of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a. and in meeting the company's long-term objectives.
