INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a. operates in accordance with the legislation in force in the Republic of Albania, complying with regulatory standards and the requirements established by the competent authorities.

INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a. is licensed by the Financial Supervisory Authority (AMF) to conduct non-life insurance activities under License No. 6/2001, dated 22.06.2012.

The activities of INTERSIG Vienna Insurance Group sh.a. are based in particular on Law No. 52/2014 “On Insurance and Reinsurance Activity”, which establishes the general framework for the licensing, organization, administration, supervision, capital requirements, and risk management of insurance and reinsurance companies, as well as on Law No. 32/2021 “On Mandatory Insurance in the Transport Sector”, which regulates mandatory insurance in this sector, claims compensation procedures, and the protection of the rights of injured parties. These two laws constitute the main legal basis governing insurance activities in the Republic of Albania.
